By Mathew Edwards in · Podcast · April 21, 2016

In this Reality Check series, Mathew Edwards sits down with Bill Hoppin, VP Business Development, Aerohive to talk about the future of retailing.

Retail is changing at an exponential rate. The internet, and the creation of online marketplaces such as Amazon has led to many claiming that the end of the high street was near.

But, Brick-and-mortar stores have started to take advantage of technology to fight back and re-connect with their target audience. In this 3-part podcast series, two experts discuss the future of retail, the challenges associated with new technologies and give examples of real-life success stories.

Within the retail space, there is a great opportunity to use technology to fuse online with in-store experiences. In this first episode we discuss what new technologies retailers are using to improve the customer experience and the impact this has had. We wrap up the episode by looking into the part that data will play in the future of retail.
